OfflineHi,I am looking for any information about Edward O'Donnell and Ann McGinty. They are my great, great grandparents. One of their children,Bridget, was baptised in Ardun in 1867 at St Connells.Bridget was my great grandmother and eventually moved to Edinburgh and married an Andrew McCluskey.Edward was a farmer and I know Bridget had brothers. There was an old family story that they used to breed and break in horses and sell them to America.I would really love to know where they all ended up and wether I have any relations still in Glenties.Thanks.

Hi Alison
You may have already spotted this but Bridget is listed on the Familysearch website see below: as being born on 25/12/1867 born in Donegal – If you like I can obtain her birth record from the GRO in Dublin which may give a more specific address although if you have a baptism in Ardun Inishkeel then Glenties is likely – Birth cert will also provide her fathers occupation- It is often easier to check the physical books for siblings as if you have the mothers maiden name and the registration area and you work to a span of 10-15 years it is easier to find them than online (where you do have to eliminate the rest of the world)… I don't have any knowledge of Glenties other than I know my father grew up there but if you want help to assemble a list of brothers and sisters and/or to get a copy of Bridget's birth cert I can help- Let me know??
