Community Playgroup Annual Hamper Draw:
The winners in the Annual Hamper Draw were – 1st Prize – Large Hamper – Seamus Byrne; 2nd Prize – Medium Hamper –Maria Craig; 3rd Prize – Christmas Cake – Terence Craig; 4th Prize – Knitted Dolls – Angela Greenwood; 5th Prize – Bottle of Gin – Rose Mc Dyre; 6th Prize – Basket Hamper – Siobhan Campbell.

Night Classes at St. Columba’s Comprehensive School 074 9551172:
All Courses run every Tuesday night from 7.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. starting on Tuesday 21st January. They are – Intermediate Computers, ECDL Start Progression Module1, Conversational French, Conversational Italian, Zumba, Circuits for Ladies, Learn How to use a Digital Camera, Making DVDs from your Home Clips and Photos, Manual and Computerised Payroll, Joinery for the Beginner with a keen interest in wood, Simple and Delicious French Cooking, Patchwork, Introduction to Health and Safety in the Workplace. Free Courses:
There are also free courses with the Learning for Living Programme – Beginners Computers, Introduction to Internet and email, Internet and Social Networking Awareness, Project Maths to Junior Cert, Euro – watchers Money Management, Driving Theory Test, Conversational Irish, Junior Cert History, Home Baking on a Budget (subject to 8 – 10 students). Enrolment will take place on Tuesday 14th January from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. For further information contact 9551172.

Collection:
The Pro Life Trust Church Gate Collection, taken up in Glenties, recently, amounted to € 565.00. Thank you for your generous contributions.

Crib:
The Christmas Crib Collection, with all proceeds going to Maria Rafferty’s work in Ethiopia, amounted to € 727.00. Thank you for your contribution to this very worthy cause.
