Glenties Notes 18th March 2015

Confirmation:
Congratulations to the Boys and Girls who received the Sacrament of
Confirmation in St.Connell’s Church, Glenties, on Sunday last 15th March 2015.

Bingo:
The winners at the Bingo on Tuesday 10th March in the Community Centre, Glenties were – € 25 Winners – Hugh Gallagher and Bridget Byrne; € 50 Winners – Breid Gallagher, Maria Boyle, Pauline Mc Geehan, Patricia Whyte, Dim Melly, Mrs. Gallagher, Kathleen Keeny, Caroline Kee, Jean Boyle, Cathy Connell, Caroline Kee, Nancy Dorrian, Mary Ward and Gerry Doherty, € 60 Winner – Nellie Doherty; €100 –Winners – Jimmy Quinn, Donal Brennan, Cathy Connell, Breige Roarty, Cathy Connell, Claire Keeney, Margo Gallagher, Mary Gallagher and Bella Boyle; €300 Winner – Jean Boyle.

Daffodil Day:
On Friday 27th March, Volunteers will be collecting on the Main Street, Glenties. Your support will be appreciated.

Enrolment Evening:
Little Learner’s Montessori in Glenties will be holding an Enrolment Evening on Friday 20th March from 6p.m. – 8p.m. They will be taking enrolments for the ECCE scheme (free pre-school year) for September 2015 and they will also be taking enrolments for daily sessions for Non ECCE participants. Glenties Community Centre:
Bingo held in Glenties Community Centre every Tuesday Night at 9 p.m.
Snooker: Snooker room is open Monday to Friday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, Sunday 10 a.m. to 10 p.m… No snooker Tuesday’s
Tai Chi: Tai Chi on Wednesday night 8 p.m. -9.30 p.m.
New CE scheme: A New CE scheme started on 22nd September 2014, Anyone willing to start contact 087 9695053 for more details. FAS criteria apply.
Bowls: Bowls on Monday night.
Children’s Drama Classes: Vanessa Mc Fadden children’s drama classes started Thursday 6th November 2014 from 5 p.m. -7 p.m.

Áras Sheaghán Bháin:
Bédh Oíche Ghealach le ceol, ceol uirlisí drama agus craic san Áras Sheaghán Bháin, oíche Aoine an 20ú Márta ag 8 i.n. Cuirfear tú leis an oíche le Seoladh leabhair le Mícheál Mac Giolla Easbuic, as Cill Chartha. Fálte roimh achan nduine.

An Irish Night will be held in Áras Sheaghán Bháin, Fintown, on Friday 20th March at 8 p.m. The night will begin with the launch of a book by Mícheál Mac Giolla Easbuic from Kilcar. Everyone is welcome.
