Bingo:

Glenties Community Centre:
Bingo in the Glenties Community Centre every Tuesday night at 9 p.m. Every line is € 50, every house €100. Jackpot, if not won will be €2,500 on 45 numbers or less on 6 / 05 / 2014, if not won on the night €300 will be paid out. In house draws.

Bowls in the Community Centre every Monday at 8 p.m.

Drama for children from 4.15 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday.

Snooker room is open from 4pm – 10 p.m. every evening and from 10am to 10 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. To

“Do This In Memory”:
The Parish Based Preparation Programme for First Holy Communion called – “Do This In Memory” will continue Next Sunday 4thMay at11a.m. Mass.

First Confession:
First Confession for the Edeninfagh First Holy Communion Children will take place in Edeninfagh this evening – Thursday 1st May at 6.00 p.m. First Confession for the Glenties First Holy Communion Children will take place in the Big Chapel in Glenties this evening – Thursday 1st May at 8.00 p.m.

First Holy Communion:
Children from St. Riaghan’s N.S. Drimnacrosh, Kilkenny N.S. and Scoil Mhuire will receive their First Holy Communion on Saturday 24th May at 11.00.a.m. Mass in St. Connell’s Church, Glenties.
Children from Edeninfagh will receive their First Holy Communion at 12 Mid- Day Mass on Sunday 11th May.

Confirmation:
The Sacrament of Confirmation will be administered in St. Connell’s Church, Glenties on Sunday 18th May at 11.00a.m.

Naomh Conaill Ladies Thanks:
Naomh Conaill Ladies would like to thank everyone who supported their recent Church Gate Collection in Glenties and Edeninfagh. The amount collected at Masses in Edeninfagh was € 105.05 and in Glenties was € 622.27.

40th Anniversary:
Monday 19th May is the 40th Anniversary of the opening of our Chapel in Glenties. As you can see the Chapel has been painted inside and outside to mark the occasion. A booklet about the new St. Connell’s Church in Glenties is being prepared for the Anniversary. A Celebration Mass will take place on Monday 19th May at 7.30 p.m.

The Alzheimer Society of Ireland Tea Day:
Connaghan’s Shop-Owenea Trading, Mill Road, Glenties are hosting A Tea Day in aid of The Alzheimer Society of Ireland on Thursday 1st May. Please come along and join them for a Cuppa and support this worthy cause.

Cancer Care & Hospice Weekend:
There will be a Collection in the town during the day on Saturday; a Vintage Run on Sunday, in Memory of John the Tae Gallagher, and a Dance on Sunday night at The Highlands Hotel. Music is by The Cufflinks; Dancing is from10 p.m. – 2 a.m. Admission is € 10. Contact Daniel 087 631 5695 or Anthony 087 791 4428.

Mass in Rossnowlagh:
A bus will leave Mc Guinness’ Café at 6.00 p.m. on Tuesday 6th May and every first Tuesday for Mass in Rossnowlagh. Newcomers very welcome.
