70th Wedding Anniversary:
Congratulations to John and Bridget Hegarty, Meenalargan, Glenties who celebrated their 70th Wedding Anniversary last weekend.

“Do This In Memory”:
The Parish based Preparation Programme for First Holy Communion called “Do This in Memory” began last Sunday 16th February at 11 a.m. Mass. This Programme aims to help Parents and Parish become more actively involved in the Sacramental Preparation for First Confession and First Communion

Enrolment at Edeninfagh N.S.:
Enrolment forms are now available at the school for the 2014 / 2015 school year. For further details ring the school on ‘ 9551663

Sympathy:
Sincere sympathy is extended to the nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends of Mamie Mc Fadden, formerly Byrne, from Kilraine, Glenties who died recently in Australia.

Church Gate Collection:
The recent Church Gate Collection in aid of The Bluestack Special Needs Foundation amounted to € 407.38 in Glenties and € 95 in Edeninfagh and € 190 in Fintown. The Foundation would like to thank everyone for their very generous contributions to this collection, and would like to thank all the collectors, without whom, this would not have been possible. Go raibh maith agat go leir.

Enrolment at St. Riaghan’s:
Parents wishing to enroll their child at St. Riaghan’s N.S. Drimnacrosh for the school year 2014 / 2015 are invited to call to the school for an Enrolment Form. “Enrolment Day” will be held later in the year. Glenties Community Centre:
Bingo every Tuesday night at 9 p.m. Every line is € 50, every house is €100. Jackpot if not won will be €1500 on 45 numbers or less on 25/02/2014, if not won on the night €300 will be paid out. In house draws.

Bowls in the Community Centre every Monday at 8 p.m.

Tai chi in the Community Centre at 8 p.m. on Wednesday night.

Drama for children from 4.15 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday evening.

Snooker room is open from 4 p.m. – 10 p.m. every evening and from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

“Raking the Ashes”:
Join Breezy, Donna Harkin and Tina Rock for an evening of “Raking the Ashes” in the Highlands Hotel, Glenties, on Friday the 24th February, starting at 8 p.m. There will be stories, songs, tunes and plenty of home baking. Do come along to what promises to be a fun filled evening. Admission is €10. Hope to see you there, in the mean time…Keep it Lit!

Naomh Conaill Casino Night:
