Glenties Notes 3rd April 2013

Bingo:
The winners at the Bingo in the Community Centre, Glenties on Tuesday 19th March were – € 25 Winners – Kathleen Boyle and Donal Brennan.; € 50 Winners – Anna Cannon, Rosaleen Melly, Yvonne Doherty, Anna Mc Dyre, Kathleen Kenny, Isabelle McLoone, Daithi McGill and Lisa Conlon; € 100 Winners – Bridie Gallagher, Winnie Long, Anne Glynn, Ann Quinn, Josie O’Donnell, Nellie McGuire, Kitty McGlynn, Sinead Burke and Mary Furey; € 500 Winner – Grace O’Hara.

Glenties Community Centre:
Bingo every Tuesday night at 9 p.m. Every line € 50, every house €100. Jackpot if not won will be € 5,900 on Tuesday 9th April. If not won € 300 will be paid. In-house draws.

Snooker:
Snooker Room opened from 4 p.m. – 10 p.m. daily except Tuesday. It closes at 8 p.m. on Tuesday. On Saturday and Sunday – Snooker Room opened from 12.noon to 10 p.m.

Confirmation:
The Sacrament of Confirmation will be administered in St. Connell’s Church, Glenties on Sunday 12th May 2013 at 11.00 a.m.

First Holy Communion:
Children from St. Riaghan’s, Drimnacrosh, Kilkenny N.S. and Scoil Mhuire will receive their First Holy Communion in St. Connell’s Church, Glenties, at 11.00 a.m. on Saturday 25th May. Children from Edeninfagh N. S. will receive their First Holy Communion in the Church of the Holy Family at 12 Mid-Day Mass on Sunday 26th May.

Glenties Playgroup & After School:
The After School is now taking names for those interested in An Arts & Crafts Session. This will take place every Thursday from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. Children will be picked up from Scoil Mhuire and provided with a healthy snack on arrival. Daffodil Day:
“Thank You” to the Volunteers and everyone who supported the collection on the Day. € 2, 019.69 was collected

Chiropody Clinic:
