The Swimmer of the Year Cup was handed over by last year’s winner Daniel Shovlin, Kilraine. Laura Gallagher from the Glen of Glenties was the winner this year. Laura has been a dedicated swimmer for some time now and we hope she continues to enjoy swimming for many years. This year we say goodbye and thanks to Anne Hayden and Sean Mc Kenna who have given many years of teaching service to the Club. We welcome the help of new recruits Eleanor Cape and Kieran Gallagher and we hope to see more of the young people taking an interest in the teaching area. Many thanks to the teachers and committee and many helpers at the Gala, who helped to make it such a successful year.
