ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT ON THURSDAY FOLLOWING 9.30AM MASS, ENDING WITH BENEDICTION AT 6PM.

CONFESSIONS ON SATURDAY MORNING FOLLOWING 11AM MASS.

A Meeting will be held in the Parochial House on Monday 15th October at 9pm to organise the Family Mass for Saturday 3rd November. If there are any individuals, parents, children or family groups who would like to help with readings, gifts etc., please contact Fr Gerard before the meeting or come along on the night. All are welcome to attend.

Easter 2019-The Irish Pilgrimage Trust are currently accepting applications for their pilgrimage to Lourdes from young people in the North West area (Donegal/Derry/Tyrone) with:

  • A medical condition, physical disability, illness, learning disability, social or emotional need (aged 11-30 years)
  • Ill children under the age of 11 years, accompanied by a parent or close relative

The Irish Pilgrimage Trust covers the cost of the young person selected to travel. If there is someone that you feel would be eligible and would benefit from a trip to Lourdes, and you need any further information or an application form please contact Mary on 00353877962047. The closing date for applications is 31st October.

Do you know someone who was killed or died due to a tunnel disaster or disease? To have their name on a Memorial that is to be erected in Dungloe contact Conal Francis Gallagher 0872303610.

The Glenties Ciorcal Cainte will have their first evening of conversation in Irish in Ali’s (Char-Bar) on Thursday 18th October at 7.30 pm. These evenings of conversation in Irish are intended for all levels, all creeds and all nationalities. You pay for your own tea or coffee. For further information please contact Ernan 086 44 81 269.

The Flu Vaccine for the 2018/2019 season is now available in the Primary Care Centre, Glenties. All those aged 65 or over, or those with chronic health issues etc are advised to get vaccinated. Please ring 074 9551330 and make an appointment with the Practice Nurse.
