Months Mind Mass of Maureen Quinn, The Glen Tavern, In Edeninfagh Church on Friday 21st September at 8pm

The Annual Hospice Remembrance Service will take place in the Church of the Irish Martyrs, Letterkenny on the 7th October, 2018 at 4.00pm. This service is for anyone who experienced the loss of a loved one either in the Hospice or Homecare.

A Triduum in preparation for the Feast of St Padre Pio will take place at the Franciscan Friary, Rossnowlagh from Thursday 20th September to Sunday 23rd September. There will be Mass, Homily and Blessing of the Relic at 7.30pm each evening.

Are you interested in Becoming a Foster Carer? There will be an Information Session in the Station House Hotel, Letterkenny on Saturday 29th September from 10.30am – 1.30pm. Please contact Tusla on 074 9123701 if you are interested in attending.

Understanding the Catholic Faith. Classes for Non-Catholics who are interested in exploring the Catholic faith will begin in Letterkenny on 2nd October and run every Tuesday for 20 weeks. Contact 086 1240800

Rinka: Gymnastics for Toddlers, Fri morning 10:30-12:00 on the 28th Sept and 26th Oct. Just €2 per family. We still meet every Fri in between at the Markethall Glenties.

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION 2019 will be celebrated on Saturday 11th May at 11.00 A.M. in St Connell’s Church, Glenties

The 6th Class pupils of St Riaghan’s NS, Drimnacrosh will host their annual “Coffee Morning” in the school on Thursday 20th September between 10a.m. and 12.30p.m. All money raised on the day will go directly to the Donegal Hospice. We extend an open invitation to the community of Glenties and beyond to come along, join us for a cuppa and a chat and help raise much needed funds for this very worthy cause.

Sister Act – The Musical. The members of Glenties Musical Theatre are busy rehearsing the Musical, Sister Act which they will perform in Glenties Community Centre on the 4th, 5th, 6th & 7th October. This is a light hearted show for all the family. Watch out for ticket details and book your seat early and see if fun loving Deloris can hide quietly in a convent while a gang of thugs are out to kill her, and how long can Mother Superior put up with her behaviour? Will the Convent choir ever sound the same again…?

Registration for Youth Club will take place on Friday 21st September at 8pm in the Highlands Hotel. Membership is open to young people from First year of secondary school onwards. Cost of registration is €30 per child or €40 per family for the year. Parents/Guardians must attend registration. Anyone over 18 years and interested in becoming a Leader is also welcome to attend the meeting. Any queries contact Eilish 0872148012 or Joe 086 2870631. The following course for adults may be commencing in Donegal Town provided by Donegal ETB Adult Education Services. IC3 Digital Literacy Certification: Friday 10am to 2pm
This course is designed to remain relevant in an ever evolving world of technology. It is the ideal solution for any student or jobseeker looking to enhance or validate their digital skills. The courses are part-time and are free of charge to any adult with less than upper second level education / have a social welfare payment / have a medical card. Courses are accredited by QQI (Quality and Qualifications Ireland) and do not affect existing social welfare entitlements.
