Naomh Conaill Club Notes 21st June 2012
There was no winner of last weeks lotto. The numbers drawn were 3,7,15 & 19. Two prizes of €50 went to Nan Doherty, Dungloe and Kathy Connell, Portnoo. Next weeks jackpot is €3,300.
The 8th draw in the 200 club took place at the Community Centre bingo last Tuesday. 1st prize €500 Joe Mc Glinchey Main Street Glenties. 5 prizes of €100 each Columba O’Donnell Donegal Town, Cormac Molloy Narin Road Glenties, Annmarie Brennan Ardara, Francis Houston The Co-Op and Kathy Gildea Kilraine.
Good luck to the Naomh Conaill U-14 Girls team, their Managers and Mentors who travel to Edenderry, Co Offaly to take part in the All Ireland Feile this weekend 21st – 24th June. This is the second year in a row that the girls have qualified for the All Ireland Final. The Ladies board, managers and mentors of the team would like to thank everyone who has sponsored, Supported and helped out over the last few weeks in fundraising for the trip.
The U-8 Go Games is in Naomh Columba this Saturday 23rd June at 12 noon. Naomh Columba is hosts to Dungloe, Na Rossa and ourselves Naomh Conaill.
Well done to the U-14’s who are through to the League Regional Final are a very convincing victory last week against Aodh Ruadh. Naomh Conaill 4-14 1-05 Aodh Ruadh. They will now play Four Masters in the final. Next Wednesday 27th June they play Naomh Mhuire in the banks at 7.30pm in the U-14 Championship Division One.
The minors are away to Ardara next Wednesday 27th June at 7.30pm
The thirds are home this Saturday against Naomh Columba at 7.30pm.
The reserves and seniors are away to Glenswilly on Sunday 23rd June. The reserve game is at 1.30pm followed by the senior game at 3.00pm.
The Ulster Football semi final against Tyrone in Clones on Saturday 30th June will NOT be an All Ticket game. Only the Gerry Arthurs Stand will be ticketed. Names for tickets must be given to any of the senior board club officers before friday evening.
