Naomh Conaill GAA Club Notes 1st December 2015

There was no jackpot winner of this week’s Gaa lotto, the numbers drawn out were 6-8-9-13 and the 2x€50 went to Christine Mc Cool, Ard Mc Gill and Valerie Carr, Kilcar. Next week’s jackpot will be €4,100.

Naomh Conaill Gaa Dinner Dance was held in the Highlands Hotel on Saturday 28th November 2015. What a fantastic year it was for the club. On the night there were medals giving out to our Ladies team who won the Junior County Gaeltacht, Big thanks to Katie Herron (county ladies captain) on guest for ladies. The ladies awards went to Young Player of the year (Ellie MacInnes), Most improved player (Megan Byrne) and player of the year (Arlene Gallagher) There was also 3 medals giving out to our Senior Men’s team who won the Radio na Gaeltachta Donegal Senior Championship, Comortas peile na Gaeltachta county and All Ireland and Thanks to Leo Mc Loone Snr (President and Captain 1965) guest for Men. The men’s awards went to Young player of the year (Ciaran Thompson), most improved player (Kevin Mc Gettigan) and joint players of the year (Eoin Waide & Dermot Molloy). A Big Thanks must go to the Highlands Hotel for a fantastic meal and ballroom looking so well for the night, Thanks to the organising committee for getting everything organised for the night, Thanks to Street Life (band) for the entertainment, Thanks to Vincent Cranley who was M.C on the night.

Naomh Conaill AGM will be held on Friday 11th December 2015 at 8pm in the Community Centre. Please spread the word all support welcome.

Naomh Conaill Ladies AGM was held a few weeks ago and here is the Following Officers for 2016 Chair Person Hughie Molloy, Secretary Arlene Gallagher, Treasurer Rosaleen Doherty, Registrar Fiona Molloy, Pro Denise Campbell. Managers elected for 2016 were U12 and U14 Arlene Gallagher, U16 Rose Mannering, Minor and Senior Hughie Molloy and Seamus Campbell.
