Auction for signed U21 Ulster Champions Jersey in aid of Haiti
An auction for a framed signed jersey by this year’s panel of the Donegal U21 Ulster Champions is being held in aid of Fionnuala and Irene Boyle travelling to Haiti later this year.
Fionnuala and Irene are part of a 300 strong group of people who will travel to Haiti at the end of October, to build homes, community facilities and hope for some of the poorest people in the western hemisphere. In order to take part in Build It Week October, organised by Haven, each volunteer is required to raise at least €4500. The aim of the group is to build a minimum of 60 houses during the hard-working week they will spend in Haiti.
Auction will be held 13th of August at fundraising quiz in Paddy’s Bar Glenties. If you wish to place a bid contact the girls on 086 1964825/087 2612997.The jersey will be available to view in the window of the Mary-Olives shoe shop on Glenties Main Street.
The people of Haiti are still living in the most horrendous conditions and are in desperate need of help and shelter. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
