Hannah Mc Guinness is a jewellery designer – maker who produces contemporary one off and limited edition jewellery pieces. Her work focuses on the interplay between form, texture and colour, and is sculptural and individual in style. She uses a mix of precious and alternative materials for her work stretching from gold to Perspex, mixed media and finds that combining such materials can give very innovative results. Drawing influence from architecture and fashion she explores the dynamics of form and texture through traditional hands on silversmithing and various other techniques.
A graduate from NCAD Hannah works to commission from her studio at Main Street, Glenties, Co Donegal. She is also a founder member, Chairperson and Creative director of the Donegal Designer Makers.
