A big Thank you to all those who gave donations of food or money for the First Holy Communion Party in the Community Centre. Your contributions are greatly appreciated.
Glenties Community Playgroup / Afterschool:
The Playgroup and Afterschool would like to thank everyone who helped in any way towards our Easter Draw. We would especially like to mention those who donated items for the baskets and sold lines for the draw, the local retailers who displayed our Hampers and sold lines on our behalf, and those who purchased lines for the Raffles. Collection amounted to € 1,482. We would also like to thank all who contributed to our Church Gate Collection and those who collected at the Masses. This raised € 462.22. These fundraising events allow us to purchase much needed materials and equipment, new toys, jigsaws, bikes, and trikes and outdoor suits for the younger children. It also contributes to an annual outing for the children attending our service. Unfortunately € 500 of the money had to be used to purchase heating oil which was stolen from the Play School in the past number of weeks. The Glenties Community Playgroup is a registered charity. We welcome financial contributions at all times in order to help improve the service we offer the children in attendance. Thank you most sincerely for your generosity and support.
