Confessions will follow 11am mass on Saturday morning

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament takes place every Thursday in the Church after 9.30am Mass to 6pm.  This is a great form of quiet reflective prayer.  New adorers are always welcome in maintaining the flow of prayer.  This is especially the case between the times of 1pm and 4pm.  If you could commit to an hour perhaps you would give consideration to these times especially.

A meeting will be held in the Parochial House on Wednesday 19th June to organise the Corpus Christi Procession (weather permitting!!) for Sunday 23rd June after 11am Mass.

Corpus Christi Procession ~ Sunday 23rd June
At the end of the 11 a.m. Mass, on Sunday 23rd June, we will process from the Church to the Grotto for Benediction (weather permitting). The people who are usually involved in the carrying of the canopy are asked to make themselves available, as well as those who usually steward the procession, and a number of Altar Servers.
The First Holy Communion boys and girls are invited to walk in the Procession in their First Holy Communion dress/suit.

Blessing of Graves Sunday 7th July at 3pm, New Graveyard, Glenties

The Annual Church Gate Collection for Glenties Playground takes place Saturday and Sunday  15th and 16th of June. Your support would be greatly appreciated to cover insurance and upkeep costs.

Good Luck to Scoil Mhuire boys and girls gaelic teams who compete in the finals of the Cumann na mBunscol Competition this Tuesday, 18th, in O’Donnell Park, Letterkenny.  The first match throws in at 12 noon.

Music and craic all Weekend

Following her recent participation in the Mini Marathon, June Gilroy would like to thank everyone who contributed to her fundraising.  A total of €544 was raised for the Rape Crisis Centre in Donegal.

Glenties Community Centre Amalgamated Ltd CE scheme have  vacancies for an Office worker, Caretaker for Community Centre, Museum worker, Horticultural workers/ Maintenance worker, C.E criteria applies. To apply for any of  the above please e-mail glentiescommunitycentre@gmail.com for more information.
