LOOP SYSTEM: A “Loop System” has now been installed in the Main Church and the Day Church to assist the hard of hearing using hearing aid devices.


CONFESSIONS FOR EASTER: Prior to Easter is a traditional time to reflect on our Christian living and our ongoing relationship with God and each other. With this in mind the Sacrament of Confession/Reconciliation will be available locally on the following days and times:

Sunday 25th March Edeninfagh 11.30am and after 12.15pm Mass
Monday 26th March Kilclooney 8.00pm
Monday 26th March Fintown 8.30pm
Tuesday 27th March Glenties 8.00pm
Wednesday 28th March Ardara 8.00pm

A meeting will be held with those parents (of First Holy Communion Children) who are taking responsibility for organizing the next “Let’s Be Family” Mass for Easter Sunday Mass (1st April, 11.00am). The meeting will take place in Scoil Mhuire on Tuesday 20th March at 8.15pm.

A meeting of the Liturgy Group re: The “Let’s Be Family” Mass will take place in Scoil Mhuire on Tuesday 20th March at 9.00pm.

CANCER CARE WEST: will hold a Church Gate Collection on Saturday24th/Sunday 25th March.

CEILI NIGHT: Sunday 18th March from 8 – 11pm in Roses CDP building Dungloe. Music by Ceili Time.

SVP COLLECTION: The recent collection amounted to €816. Thank you for your generous contributions.

ALZHEIMERS DAY CENTRE: The Annual Good Friday Walk in aid of the Alzheimers Day Care in Glenties on Thursdays and Fridays, will take place on Good Friday at 11.00am. The walk will commence at the Day Centre via Meenahalla returning to the Day Centre. Tea and Coffee afterwards.

A FUND FOR MICKEY JOE MCMONAGLE: Finale Fundraising Dance taking place in the Limelight, Glenties on Saturday 24th March with Daniel O’Donnell and Guests. Admission €20.00 payable at the door. Doors opening at 8.30 pm. Door prizes on the night. Everyone welcome.

THE YOUTH CHOIR: Are in need of some teenage or adult musicians to assist at the family Mass on the first Saturday of every month. Contact Anne McDwyer on 087 7530132 if you can help.

TIR CHONAILL GAP CYCLING CLUB: Will host their annual Easter Charity Cycle and Run/Walk on Monday, 2 April 2018. Registration will take place at 10.00 am, in the Glenties Day Care Centre, with refreshments served afterwards. Proceeds in aid of the Care of the Aged and Alzheimer’s. Distances are 30k or 60k cycle, 5k run/walk or Duathlon 5k run & 30k cycle. See Facebook for details or contact any committee member.
