CONFESSIONS FOR THE CONFIRMANDI AND THEIR FAMILIES will be available in the Church on Monday evening at 7.00pm as a preparation for Confirmation Day on Sunday next, 10th March.  We wish all our young people every blessing as they receive the Holy Spirit afresh.

Lent begins on Wednesday when we receive ashes as a reminder of our dependence on God and as an Act of Penance.  Ash Wednesday is a day of Fast and Abstinence.

These Mass times may be subject to change.

Visitation of the Sick & Elderly will take place this week as follows :
Tuesday 5th – Ard Connell, Main Street, Tullyard Road, Dr Mccloskey Crescent, Stranaglough, Meenalargan, Altar, Ard Patrick.
Wednesday 6th – Stonepark, Mill Road,  Derries, Kilraine, Drimnacrosh, Tullyhoniver, Narin Road, Loughcrillan Road, Letterilly, Maas, Mulnamina, Gortnsillagh, Drimnasillagh, Buncrobog.

Due  to  Confirmation  Practise  on  Tuesday  morning,  Fr  Gerard  may  be  a  little  later  starting  his  Tuesday  calls.

Margaret  Connell, THE  FOOT  CARE  PRACTITIONER,  will  be  in  the  Day  Centre  on Monday 4th March.   To  book   an appointment  call  087 1417180.

Irish Cancer Society Daffodil Day Friday 22nd March.  Volunteers will be on the Main Street, Glenties looking for your support.  Donations of fresh daffodils would be greatly appreciated.  Thank You.

Youth Pilgrimage to Croagh Patrick:  It is hoped to take a group of young people from the Parish from 3rd year upward, on a one day pilgrimage to Croagh Patrick, Co Mayo on Thursday 25th April.  Please contact Fr Gerard or the Parochial House for further details.

Fintown Harps AFC 50/50 Draw €2 a ticket or 3 tickets for €5.  Draw will take place the last Thursday of every month.  Tickets are on sale in local businesses or ask any player.

Narin Portnoo Rosbeg CE Project have a vacancy for Youth Worker, attached to Downstrands Family Resource Centre, in the Dolmen Centre.
