Naomh Conaill Club Notes 3rd September 2013
There was no winner of last weeks lotto. The numbers drawn were 6, 25, 27 and 30. Two prizes of €50 went to Fiona Molloy Kingarrow and Kathleen Mc Glynn Glengesh. Next weeks jackpot is €3,700.
The August draw in the 200 plus club took place last Tuesday night at the community centre bingo. 1st prize €500 Peter Mc Kelvey Station Road. 5 prizes of €100 each Joe Mc Glinchey Main Street, Alan Kee Main Street, Joe Kelly Ballybofey, Anthony Burke, Bruckless and Janice Mc Nelis Narin Road.
The U13 team had a comprehensive victory over Kilcar on Sunday. Naomh Conaill 7-13 2-04 Kilcar. This Saturday 7th September they are away to Ardara at 12noon.
The U15 team competed in the Og sport last Saturday. They bet Killybegs 3-3 to 2-5 but were then beaten by the eventual winners St Eunans. Naomh Conaill 0-5 3-7 St Eunans.
The U16’s are in championship action this Wednesday 4th when they host Killybegs in the 2nd leg at 7pm.
A great second half team performance saw the senior team earn a draw against St Eunans. Naomh Conaill 1-9 2-6 St Eunans.
A Mr and Mrs competition takes place this Saturday 7th September as part of Eileen Gallaghers Lord mayor competition. A great nights fun is in store when 8 local couples battle it out to take the honour of the perfect r and Mrs. Tickets are available from the Highlands Hotel or the Co-Op at just €10 or by contacting Eileen herself or any of the participating couples. Doors open 9pm.
