Good luck to the Senior and Reserve teams who meet Ardara in the quarter final of the championship this Sunday evening in Letterkenny. The Reserve match starts at 4.45pm while the Senior game has throw in time of 6.15pm. The Seniors beat Four Masters 1-10 to 0-7 at home in the league last Sunday.
Hard luck to the 3rd team who made their exit from the Junior B championship losing 0-14 to 3-07 against Glenfin last Saturday evening in Balybofey.
The Minors beat Dungloe in play of in Ardara last Wednesday 3-8 to 0-8 they now meet Bundoran in a Southern Regional semi final on Wednesday 26th Aug at 6.30pm in Fintra.
The U10s travelled to the Banks last Saturday to take part in a blitz hosted by Naomh Mhuire. The A team won their competition while the B teams sucessful run came to a end when they were beaten by a strong Ardara team.
Well done to the U14 girls team who have reached the Co final after beating Carndonagh 3-05 to 3-01 last Sunday.
There will be a club meeting in the clubhouse this Monday 31st August at 9pm.
The club are holding a Golf Classic in Narin-Portnoo Golf Club on Saturday 5th September. This years event will be a 3 ball scramble playing for a prize fund of 2000 Euro. Cost of team of 3 will be 100 Euro or alternatively you can sponsor a Tee for 50 Euro. Other prizes will be given for Longest Drive and Nearest The Pin. The club in conjunction with the Harvest Fair are holding a 30km fun cycle challenge on Sunday 13th Sept. Entry fee is 20 Euro and participants must be over 16 and complete a registration form before Monday 7th Sept. Forms availble from committee members or ring 087 2546592. Numbers are limited.Its now time to start training and be ready to take part and complete the challenge.
