Congratulations to our senior and reserve teams who both won there county championship quarter finals last weekend with wins over Kilcar (reserve) 2-14 to 0-14 and St Eunans (senior) 1-13 to 1-08. They will now play St Eunans (reserve) and Kilcar (senior) in the semi-final this Sunday 2nd Oct in Mc Cumhaill park Ballybofey at 4:30pm and 6pm.

Well done to our U16s who defeated Naomh Columba in the Championship 2-22 to 3-13 in Glenties last Monday evening.

Congratulations to our Senior and Reserve teams on making it three out of three wins in the Michael Murphy Sports Championship group D last Saturday with a great victory over Gweedore winning reserve 2-13 to 0-13 and Senior 2-18 to 0-11. Our seniors go on to play St Eunans in the quarter final and our reserves play Kilcar. Good luck to both managers and teams.

Good Luck to our 3rd team who face St Eunans this Saturday at 1pm in the Michael Murphy senior C championship semi-final. Venue to be confirmed later.

On Thursday 8th September asking all members not to miss out on watching 20 locals take on 3 time world darts champion John Part in Leos Bar Glenties. Great nights fun and all proceeds go towards Naomh Conaill Gaa club.

Friday 9th September Naomh Conaill will host a 7aside tournament for over 35s in memory of the late Matthew Mannering in Davy Brennan Park Glenties starting at 6:30pm. This tournament is a fitting tribute to a young man taken away from us in his prime. This tournament includes former teammates and former opponents from neighbouring clubs revive their playing days.

Naomh Conaill GAA Club Notes 22nd April 2015

There was no winner of this week’s GAA lotto, numbers drawn out were 10-17-22-29. The 2x€50 went to Martin Regan (snr) Mill Road and Emer O’Donnell, Mill Road. Next week’s jackpot will be €3,400.

Naomh Conaill club is holding a child protection course. Anyone that has it done pre 2010 needs to do it again and new members are also welcomed, anyone working with underage teams must have this one evening course done. Anyone wanting to put their name down is asked to contact Muriel Hegarty 087 6485725.

Congratulations to our Minor team on their victory over Naomh Columba in the Regional league final in Dungloe last with a score of 4-10 to 1-10.

Naomh Conaill u14 got off to a great start to the league over Dungloe with a score line of 3-13 to 1-3.

Naomh Conaill Club Notes 15th November 2013

There was no winner of last weeks lotto. The numbers drawn were 4,15,27 and 28. Two prizes of €50 went to Isabella Mc Loone Mill Road and Fiona Boyle Main Street. Next weeks jackpot is €4,700.

The U16’s were beaten in the county semi final by St Eunans. Naomh Conaill 0-06 5-11 St Eunans.

Commiserations to the U21 team who were beaten in the county final by Kilcar. Naomh Conaill 1-08 1-10 Kilcar.

The club’s Strictly Come Jiving will take place on Saturday 23rd November in the Highlands Hotel. Tickets are €15 and are for sale in the Highlands Hotel, The Co-Op, Maxwells Ballinamore or from any of the dancers taking part.

Naomh Conaill GAA Club Notes 31st October 2013

There was no winner of last weeks lotto. The numbers drawn were 11, 14, 15 and 18. Two prizes of €50 went to Kathleen Quinn 20 Ard Mc Gill and Margaret Flannery Ardun. Next weeks jackpot is €4,500.

Well done to the U16 team who overcame Aodh Ruadh in the play-off in Ardara on Friday night. Aodh Ruadh 3-05 2-12 Naomh Conaill. They now play the winners of Dungloe/Naomh Mhuire in Ardara on Friday night at 8.15pm.

Well done to the U21 who are through to the final after they were victorious over Mac Cumhaills. Naomh Conaill 2-14 1-08 Mac Cumhaills. They now await the winners of Kilcar v Four Masters. This is the U21’s playing in our 8th consecutive final.

Naomh Conaill Club Notes 3rd September 2013

There was no winner of last weeks lotto. The numbers drawn were 6, 25, 27 and 30. Two prizes of €50 went to Fiona Molloy Kingarrow and Kathleen Mc Glynn Glengesh. Next weeks jackpot is €3,700.

The August draw in the 200 plus club took place last Tuesday night at the community centre bingo. 1st prize €500 Peter Mc Kelvey Station Road. 5 prizes of €100 each Joe Mc Glinchey Main Street, Alan Kee Main Street, Joe Kelly Ballybofey, Anthony Burke, Bruckless and Janice Mc Nelis Narin Road.

The U13 team had a comprehensive victory over Kilcar on Sunday. Naomh Conaill 7-13 2-04 Kilcar. This Saturday 7th September they are away to Ardara at 12noon.

The U15 team competed in the Og sport last Saturday. They bet Killybegs 3-3 to 2-5 but were then beaten by the eventual winners St Eunans. Naomh Conaill 0-5 3-7 St Eunans.

The U16’s are in championship action this Wednesday 4th when they host Killybegs in the 2nd leg at 7pm.

A great second half team performance saw the senior team earn a draw against St Eunans. Naomh Conaill 1-9 2-6 St Eunans.

A Mr and Mrs competition takes place this Saturday 7th September as part of Eileen Gallaghers Lord mayor competition. A great nights fun is in store when 8 local couples battle it out to take the honour of the perfect r and Mrs. Tickets are available from the Highlands Hotel or the Co-Op at just €10 or by contacting Eileen herself or any of the participating couples. Doors open 9pm.

The U13’s got their year off to a winning start with a very comprehensive victory over Dungloe. Dungloe 3-06 6-12 Naomh Conaill. Next Sunday 1st September they are home to Kilcar at 12 noon.

Well done to the U16 team who defeated Killybegs in the preliminary round 1st leg of the championship.Killybegs 1-05 5-16 Naomh Conaill. The 2nd leg is due to take place in Glenties on Wednesday 4th September.

Well done to the U21 team who are through to the quarter final after they defeated Ardara by six points. Naomh Conaill 0-13 0-06 Ardara. They now play Convoy in the quarter final.

Congratulations to the reserve team and their manager who are through to the reserve county final after they defeated Four Masters in the semi final. Naomh Conaill 1-08 0-06 Four Masters. They now play Gaoth Dobhair in the final.

The senior team secured two more valuable points in Towney on Sunday when they defeated Kilcar 2-13 to 2-08. Well done boys.

Naomh Conaill Club Notes 11th July 2013

There was no winner of last weeks lotto. The numbers drawn were 6,13,14 and 21. Two prizes of €50 went to James Griffin Derries and Odhrán Furey The Glen. Next weeks jackpot is €2,900.

The U12’s are home to Aodh Ruadh on Monday 15th July at 6.30pm.

The U16’s had a good victory over Dungloe last week. Dungloe 2-05 2-11 Naomh Conaill. On Friday 12th they are home to Naomh Mhuire at 7.30pm.

The minors were beaten in the championship last week by Naomh Mhuire. Naomh Conaill 0-05 1-11 Naomh Mhuire.

Both the seniors and reserves were beaten by St Michaels on Saturday evening. In the reserve game it finished St Michaels 0-07 0-05 Naomh Conaill while in the senior game it finished St Michaels 5-10 1-10 Naomh Conaill.

The thirds game against Mac Cumhaills on Sunday finished all square Mac Cumhaills 1-07 1-07 Naomh Conaill.

The Naomh Conaill senior ladies played Kilcar in the championship on Sunday and recorded a good victory. Naomh Conaill 3-09 1-05 Kilcar

Naomh Conaill Club Notes 13th June 2013

There was no winner of last weeks lotto. The numbers drawn were 8,15,22 and 29. Two prizes of €50 went to Anna Mc Dyer Main Street and Fiona Gallagher Station Road. Next weeks jackpot is €2,500.

The U12’s got their season off to a very good start with two very comprehensive victories over Bundoran on Friday night and Killybegs on Monday night. Next Monday 17th they are home to Dungloe at 6.30pm.

The U14’s play Kilcar in th Division 1 championship semi final in Naomh Ultan on Friday evening at 7.30pm.

The thirds got back to winning ways last Friday when they overcame Glenfin 2-08 to 0-06. This Saturday they are away to Mac Cumhaills at 7.30pm.

The reserves are through to the to the quarter final of the reserve championship after they overcame Malin 1-05 to 5-14. While in the senior game it finished all square at 1-08 to 0-11. This Sunday it is back to league action with both teams away to Four Masters. The reserve game is at 1.30pm followed by the senior game at 3pm.
