Naomh Conaill GAA Club Notes 21st July 2014

There was no winner of this weeks club lotto jackpot, the numbers out were 1-14-22-30. The 2x€50 prizes went to Sean Coyle, Brockagh Cloghan, and Joseph Gallagher, Derries. Next weeks jackpot will be €8200.

Congratulations to our u14 boys team on reaching the A Co Final in Letterkenny last week but unfortunately fell short to a very good MacCumhaills Team. Well done to all involved.

Congratulations to the new Ulster Champions 2014 Donegal. Well done to the Donegal Minors and Seniors on there great victory’s over Armagh and Monaghan at the weekend. Well done Ethan (minor), Jim, Leo, Antony, Dermot, Leon, Joe, Charles,Dr Charlie (senior).

Names will be taking in the clubhouse this Friday 25th July for tickets for the All Ireland quarter final between 7-8pm. There will be a deposit to be paid for tickets of €20 per adult and €5 per child’s.

Naomh Conaill GAA Club Notes 26th May 2014

There was no winner of this weeks club lotto, the numbers out were 1-5-24-26 €50 x2 went to Kathleen Quinn Ard mc Gill and Siobhan Shovelin Ardara. This weeks jackpot will be €7400

Naomh Conaill club are looking for lotto sellers for different areas in the parish, if anyone would like to become a seller for an area contact Daniel Mc Geehan for details on 0868586395.

The club are organizing a scrap Saturday this week from Thursday 29th – Saturday 31st May, If you have any unwanted scrap metal around the house it can be left behind the clubhouse on the above dates or contact Daniel 0868586395 Connie 0861519835 Peter 0876483685 to make a collection. Congratulations to Donegal team on there victory over Derry at the weekend, congratulations to all our club players and background team Ethan (minors), Jim (manager), Anthony, Leo (man of the match), Dermot, Leon and Dr Charlie, Charles, Joe.

A special well done to our u14 team on reaching the Division 1 u14 Co final v MacCumhaills on Friday last, well done to all the team and managers involved.

Naomh Conaill Club Notes 24th October 2013

There was no winner of last weeks lotto. The numbers drawn were 2, 16, 19 and 21. Two prizes of €50 went to Ann Mc Dyre Maas and Margaret Flannery Ardun. Next weeks jackpot is €4,400.

The U16’s were beaten in the semi final 2nd leg of the championship last Sunday. Aodh Ruadh 2-7 1-2 Naomh Conaill. This now goes to a third game as Naomh Conaill won the 1st leg. This game is due to be played this weekend.

Commiserations to the reserve team who were beaten by Gweedore in the county final. Naomh Conaill 0-6 2-6 Gweedore.
Good luck to the U21 team who take on MacCumhaills in the county semi final this Saturday in Glenfin at 2pm.

Well done to the U14 girls and their managers who won the county final last Saturday after they overcame Gweedore .

Good luck to the Naomh Conaill minor ladies who take on St Eunans in the county semi final this Saturday. Venue and time TBC.

Naomh Conaill Club Notes 21st November 2012

There was no winner of last weeks lotto. The numbers drawn were 14,20,26 and 27. Two prizes of €50 went to Mary Mc Gettigan Doochary and Sinead Sweeney Dungloe. Next weeks jackpot is €4,100.

The clubs AGM which was due to take place this Friday night has been postponed until Friday 14th December at 8.00pm in the clubhouse.

The club, senior team and their managers would like to thank Kieran Kennedy- An Cluid and Paddy Boyle for sponsoring the senior team with jackets for the County final.

The U21’s play Letterkenny Gaels this Saturday 24th November at 2pm in MacCumhaill Park.

Last weekends Division One Reserve and Senior league game between Kilcar and Naomh Conaill was called off due to the pitch being unplayable. It is now fixed for this Sunday 25th. The reserve game is at 1.00pm followed by the senior game at 2.15pm.

Naomh Conaill Club Notes 14th November 2012

There was no winner of last weeks lotto. The numbers drawn were 8,13,18 and 23. Two prizes of €50 went to Mary Doherty Stranalough and Anne Bonner Glen Road. Next weeks jackpot is €4,000.

The U13’s were victorious by 0-10 to 0-08 over neighbours Ardara in the Division One Southern Regional Final played in Glenties last Sunday morning. This was a very exciting and tense affair with both teams serving up some good football for the large crowd. Ardara led at the interval by the narrowest of margins 0-06 to 0-05 but the boys in blue had the better of exchanges in the second period and despite late Ardara pressure held out for a two point winning margin. They now play MacCumhaills this weekend in the County Semi Final. See clubs website for details.

The club,U14 management and players wish to sincerely thank Eileen Mc Dyre of Raudon Teoranta once again for her very generous sponsorship of new Adidas tops for the U14 panel.

The minor team was beaten by Kilcar in the Regional Final last Friday night. Naomh Conaill 0-06 to 2-11 Kilcar. On Wednesday 14th November they play St Eunans in the County Semi Final in MacCumhaill park at 7.45pm.

Well done to the U21 team who bet Ardara in the Championship Quartre final. Naomh Conaill 2-15 1-04 Ardara.

Naomh Conaill Notes 5th January 2011

The U21s had a  4 point victory at home against Four Masters in the 1st round of the championship on New Years Eve. They were due to play Mac Cumhaills last Monday in the quarter final but Mac Cumhaills were unable to field and we were awarded the game.

There was no winner of last weeks lotto. The numbers drawn were 1,2,16,20. Two prizes of 50 Euro went to Jack Flannery and Margo Gallagher. The jackpot now stands at 4,700 Euro.
