ADORATION FOR LIFE: A 24hour time of Adoration will take place from 10am Friday 18th May until 10am Saturday 19th May. A rota sheet will be placed in the porch area for all those wishing to join in this prayer of petition for life. It is hoped that a minimum of two people might join in Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament for each hour.

The next “Let’s Be Family” Mass/Farewell Mass for 6th Class will take place on Sunday 3rd June at 11am. A meeting to prepare for this Mass will take place in Scoil Mhuire on Thursday 17th May at 8.45pm.

The Charlie Mór and Paddy Ward Charity Tractor Run is taking place on Sunday 20th May at 3.30pm, starting at Cloghan Day Centre. All tractors welcome. Proceeds to Cloghan and Fintown Day Care Centres.

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE CHILDREN IN GLENTIES, EDENINFAGH AND FINTOWN WHO RECEIVED JESUS FOR THE FIRST TIME THIS WEEKEND.

Corpus Christi Procession ~ Sunday 3rd June
At the end of the 11 a.m. Mass, on Sunday 3rd June, we will process from the Church to the Grotto for Benediction (weather permitting). The people who are usually involved
in the carrying of the canopy are asked to make themselves available, as well as those who usually steward the procession, and a number of Altar Servers. The First Holy Communion Children
are invited to walk in the Procession in their First Holy Communion Dress.

Jim Browne from Mayo who gave his testimony and distributed blessed crosses from Medjugorje is running a retreat 6 & 7 June in Kilmacrennan, “Surrender and Accept Jesus’s Invitation to the Banquet” finishing with prayers for healing. Limited places. Cost €15. Contact Helen 086 0877614.

A Pro Life public meeting calling for the retention of the 8th amendment will be held in the Clanree Hotel Letterkenny on Monday 14th May at 8pm. Guest speakers on the night include Prof Patricia Casey, journalist John Waters and Martin and Sinead Breen, the parents of baby Grace. The meeting is open to all members of the public.

World War 1 exhibits and events remembering WW1 in the Dolman Centre Kilclooney on Thursday 10th May to Friday 18th May from 9am to 4pm and 7pm to 10pm daily. (Closed weekends). Caroline Carr will talk on Thursday 10th May at 8pm. There will be a concert on Friday 18th May at 8pm with music, poetry, drama and guest speaker, Gerry Moore. If you have any memorabilia bring them along 2 hours prior to the concert for display.
