ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT EVERY THURSDAY MORNING FROM 10AM TO 6PM.

THERE WILL BE STATIONS OF THE CROSS FOLLOWING THE 7.30PM MASS ON FRIDAY.

LOOP SYSTEM: A “Loop System” has now been installed in the Main Church and the Day Church to assist the hard of hearing using hearing aid devices.

GLENTIES S.V.P.: Church gate collection next weekend 3rd/4th March. Please give generously.

“THE GREAT WAR”: It has been proposed to host a commemorative event to honour those from Ardara, Downstrands and Glenties who participated in World War 1. If you have any information about a family member/neighbour or any memorabilia from this time please contact any of the following people;

GLENTIES COMMUNITY PLAYGROUP AGM: AGM will be held on Thursday 8th March at 8pm.

FOOT HEALTH PRACTITIONER: Margaret Connell will be in the Day Centre on Monday March 5th. Contact 087 1417180.

MARY’S MEALS: Church Gate Collection will take place on 3rd/4th March. Your support is greatly appreciated.

Visitation of the sick & elderly will take place this week as follows : –
Tuesday 6th Main Street, Tullyard Road, Dr. Mc Closkey Crescent, Stranaglough, Meenalargan, Ard Patrick and Ard McGill.
Wednesday 7th Stonepark, Derries, Kilraine, Drimnacrosh, Mullantyboyle, Narin Road, Loughcrillan Road, Letterilly, Maas, Ard Connell, Glen Road.

FIRST CONFESSION: MONDAY 23RD APRIL AT 7PM
FIRST HOLY COMMUNION: SATURDAY 12TH MAY AT 11AM

THE YOUTH CHOIR: Are in need of some teenage or adult musicians to assist at the family Mass on the first Saturday of every month. Please contact Anne McDwyer on 087 7530132 if you can be of help.

ANAM CARA: is holding a Bereavement Information Evening on Tuesday 6th March at 7:00pm in the Waterfront Hotel, Dungloe. As Anam Cara will need to confirm numbers for teas, coffees, etc, please RSVP to info@anamcara.ie before Monday 5th March or call the Information Line on 085 2888 888.

SCOIL MHUIRE: Are hosting a “Glenties Say Yes To The Dress” in the Highlands Hote l on Friday 27th April at 8pm. Anyone who has a dress that they can donate to this fundraiser can leave them into Scoil Mhuire. We are looking for occasional wear suitable to sell on the night. We would be grateful for your support.

WONDER OF THE [TURIN] SHROUD: A 60 minute film by Fr Martin Haigh, OSB will be shown in the Donegal Town Parish Centre on Thursday 15th March at 7pm. It will be followed by a 30 min overview of the forensic studies on the Shroud of Turin to-date. Light refreshments afterwards. Voluntary offerings to benefit the SVP. PROTECT THE 8TH: Meeting for everyone interested in the Right to Life. Tara Hotel, Killybegs. Wednesday 7th March at 8pm.

RALLY TO PROTECT THE 8TH AMENDMENT: Takes place in Dublin on 10th March at 2pm. The most important Rally for Life. Bus leaves Glenties at 8am. To book your seat contact Jim 087 5606595 or Noreen 087 7456087.

DYC’S CASH FOR CLOBBER: There will be a “Cash for Clobber” collection on Saturday 10th March in aid of the Donegal Youth Choir’s Lourdes trip. Drop off at the Market Hall, Glenties 11am – 3pm. To arrange collection outside this time or for any queries call 086 1656455. Any support would be greatly appreciated.

Last week’s OFFERTORY COLLECTION amounted to € 2,175.00. Thank You

Church of the Holy Family, Edeninfagh

SUNDAY MASS: *** 12 .15 p.m. ***
WEEKDAY MASSES: Thursday 8th March 6pm & Friday 9th March 6pm

We will have Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament on Mondays from 6pm to 8pm.

Fr Donnchadh will visit the sick and elderly on Tuesday 6th March from 11am.
