Naomh Conaill Notes 12th April 2010
Congratulations to the Donegal U21 team and management on a fantastic victory over Cavan in the Ulster final last week. It was a proud day for the club to have Jim Mc Guinness as manager and 3 players on the team Leo Mc Loone, Ciaran Boyle and Dermott Molloy. We wish them luck now in the All Ireland semi final against Tipperary this Saturday night in Parnell Park.
The Seniors poor start to the league continued last Saturday when they were beaten at home by Four Masters but the Reserves made it 2 wins out 2 beating Four Masters by 1point. Both teams are at home to Termon this Sunday at 2.30pm and 4pm.
The 3rds also remain unbeaten after beating Glenswilly 1-13 to 0-3 at home last Sunday evening. They are away to Aodh Ruadh this Saturday at 12pm
The U16s beat Naomh Columba by 2pts at home last Friday. They are at home to Naomh Brid this Friday at 6.30pm.
The U13s had a very convincing victory at home to Ardara last Monday. The are away to St Nauls next Monday at 6.30pm.
The U14s lost out to Dungloe and Naomh Mhuire in the Feile Competition in Dungloe last Saturday.
The U14 girls got through to the final of Feile last week but were narrowly beaten by St Eunans.
The club have a new range of club gear on sale in McGlincheys
There was no winner of last weeks lotto. The numbers drawn were 5,8,21,28. Two prizes of 50 Euro went to Catherine Boyle and Marie Carr, Glenties. The jackpot now stands at 5,800 Euro.
