The Transition year class from St. Columba’s Comprehensive School have written a booklet called “Placenames, their meanings and families that lived there in the 1800s”. Local people were interviewed for information, research was carried out on the internet and books of local interest were read. The booklet is on sale in The Paper Stop, Glenties, Diver’s Newsagents, Ardara and the Dolmen Centre, Kilclooney.
