All Ireland Final
Best wishes to Jim Mc Guinness and his U / 21 panel, four of them from Glenties, Leo Mc Loone, Dermot Molloy, Ciaran Boyle and Seamus Corcoran, when they meet Dublin on Saturday evening in Breffni Park, Cavan.

Bingo
The winners at the Bingo in the Community Centre, Glenties on Tuesday 20th April were – Maureen Gildea won the Jackpot of € 400. Dessie O’ Donnell, Letterkenny, Anne Furey, Anne Mc Dyre, Mary Gallagher, Leitir, Liz Buckley, Fiona Gallagher, Maggie O’ Donnell and James Gallagher won € 100 each. Patsy Martin, Teresa Mc Kelvey, Margaret Ward, N. Breslin, Ardara, Margaret Gillespie, Patricia Whyte, Liz Buckley, Brid Brennan, Mary Ellen Gavigan, Rose Molloy and Leticia Doherty won € 50 each. Margaret Hanlon, Leitir and Rose Mc Fadden won € 20 each.

New Arrival
Congratulations to Siobhan (nee Mc Elhinney) and Pat Browne, Meenalargan, Glenties on the birth recently of their fourth child, a baby brother (Joseph) for Aodhan, Cathy and Emily.

Strictly Come Dancing 2010
Congratulations to Douglas Gallagher and Michelle Flannery who came first in the very successful ‘Strictly Come Dancing Competition’ held by Naomh Conaill GAA Club in the Highlands Hotel, Glenties last Saturday night and well done to all the couples who took part.

Collection
The Church Gate Collection for Naomh Conaill Ladies, taken up in Edeninfagh recently, amounted to €113.08. Thanks to all who contributed

Sympathy
Sincere sympathy is extended to John Mc Cool, Ard Mc Gill, Glenties on the death of his uncle, Hugo Mulligan, Ballybofey, which took place last week.
Sincere sympathy is extended to the relatives and friends of Madge Mc Glynn, Drimnaha, Fintown, who died in Letterkenny Hospital and was buried in Fintown on Friday 23rd April 2010.

Sincere sympathy is extended to Francie Breslin and family Kilraine on the death of Francie’s sister, Maggie Burke, who died in England recently; also to all the nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

First Holy Communion
Congratulations to the children who received their First Holy Communion in St. Connell’s Church, Glenties on Saturday 24th April and congratulations also to the children who received their First Holy Communion in The Church of The Holy Family, Edeninfagh on Sunday 25th April.

Thanks
St. Riaghan’s N.S. Parents Association would like to thank all parents and relatives who contributed cakes, buns, bread and biscuits to our fundraising cake sale on Easter Sunday. Thanks also to everyone who turned up on the day and bought something from the stalls to help make it such a success, helping us to raise € 800.
