Glenties Notes on April 19th 2002
The death took place on Saturday 6th April 2002, at the home of her brother in Glenfin of Susan Campbell, Silverhill, Glenties. Her remains were brought to her home in Silverhill later that day and to The Church of the Holy Family, Edeninfagh on Monday morning. Fr. Aodhan Cannon, nephew of the deceased, assisted by Fr. Nigel Ó Gallachóir, Fr. Denis Quinn, Fr. Kevin Gillespie, Fr. O’Gorman and Fr. Hugh Sweeney concelebrated Requiem Mass. Readings, Prayers of the Faithful, carrying of the Gifts were by Susan’s nieces and nephews. Music and singing was by a friend of the family. Burial took place in Edeninfagh Cemetery. Susan is survived by three brothers, Paddy, Edeninfagh, Condy, Greenans, Peter, Glenfin, one sister, Mary Cannon, Letterkenny, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends, to whom sincere sympathy is extended. Her sister, Annie and brother, Charlie predeceased her.
Sincere sympathy is extended to Brendan and Patsy Gallagher, Ardconnell and Barney O’ Haire, Derries, Glenties on the death recently of their uncle, John Mc Gill, Maghera, Ardara.
Congratulations to Rosaleen and Mark Mc Devitt, The Rock, Glenties on the birth recently of their third child, a little sister for Shane and Danielle.
Congratulations to Deirdre Dooley, The Rock, Glenties and Joseph Keegan who were married in St. Connell’s Church, Glenties on Saturday last.
