Congratulations and best wishes for many more years among us to Annie Byrne, Kilraine, Glenties, who celebrated her 90th Birthday recently.
Sincere sympathy is extended to the relatives and friends of Nellie Mc Devitt, Shallogans, who was buried in Fintown on Sunday 9th January 2005.
Sincere sympathy is extended to the relatives and friends of James Boyle, Loughnabradden and Nellie Boyle Doochary, who were buried in Fintown on Monday 10th January 2005.
Sincere sympathy is extended to the family, sister, relatives and friends of Nan Mc Gill, Edergole, Ardara (formerly Dunleavy, Meenahalla, Glenties), who died on Wednesday 12th January 2005 and was buried in Ardara on Friday.
Sincere sympathy is extended to her daughter Mary Alice, The Rock, Glenties, to other members of the family, brother, relatives and friends of Yvonne Kelly, Garraworth, Ardara (formerly of Glenties) who died on Thursday 13th January 2005 and was buried in the New Graveyard, Glenties on Saturday.
Sincere sympathy is extended to the relatives and friends of Susan Boyle, (formerly Gallagher, Greenans, Glenties) who died recently in Scotland.
Sincere sympathy is extended to Felix Jackson, Mill Road, Glenties on the death of his father, Alex Jackson, which took place recently in England.
On Friday 21st January ’05 a Concert and Dance in aid of the Asian Relief Fund will be held in the Highlands Hotel, Glenties. Doors open at 8.00p.m. and the first act is at 8.30p.m. Tickets are 10 Euro and are available at local outlets. Vincent & Jimmy Campbell & Friends, Bonner/Cannon School of Dancing, Erins Own, Street Life, The Chancers, Cufflinks and Flipside are some of the artists who will be providing the entertainment. Proceeds will go to the Irish Red Cross. Any spot prizes from local businesses will be kindly accepted for a raffle on the night and can be left at Mc Glinchey’s or Mc Guinness’ Café.
