Naomh Conaill GAA Club Notes 17th February 2016

There was no winner of this week’s Gaa lotto, the numbers drawn were 1-8-24-27 and the 2x€50 went to Ann Browne, 16 Mc Closkey cresent & Philip Rodgers Roddy’s Bar. Next week’s jackpot will be €5,200

Naomh Conaill membership for 2016 can be paid from now to 31st march 2016. Youth membership €20, Adult membership €40 or €100 includes €2 entry each week to lotto Membership forms can be got in the Inniskeel coop Glenties or from Murial Hegarty or contact any executive member.

Volunteers required the club are looking for two volunteers to help with the preparation of accounts for the club. The volunteers should be familiar with a computer but do not need to be an expert. They will help with the upkeep of the club accounts and the preparation of monthly reports for the executive. If you are interested in helping out, contact either Patrick Mc Guigan or Seamus O’Malley.

Naomh Conaill Gaa are asking all members for help for the Donegal Gaeltacht this May, If you are available to help out in any way as in stewarding, Kitchen, Lotto, Shop can you please contact any executive member asap.

Naomh conaill Gaa club is thinking of hosting 2 first aid courses depending on the numbers.     1-Day Sports First Aid Workshop The Sports First Aid course has been designed to:  Improve the quality of first aid available in the sport and exercise environment.  Increase awareness of the importance of sports first aid among leader’s coaches, teachers and all volunteers involved in sport and exercise.  Make sport safer for everyone.  Help to ensure that any injuries are dealt with appropriately when they first occur and until arrival of health care professional and the second course is Occupational Sports First Aid Courses The Donegal Sports Partnership offers a number of First Aid Courses with the main emphasis on sport throughout the County. These courses will be delivered by approved Health & Safety Authority Occupational First Aid Instructors in accordance with regulations on best practice.
