Naomh Conaill Notes 15th September 2009

Well done to the Senior team on reaching the Co Final where they will meet St Eunans on Sunday 4th October in Ballybofey after beating Kilcar 2-15 to 1-8 in Donegal Town last Sunday. They trailed at half time 1-6 to 0-6 but they produced a stunning 2nd half display to book their place in the final. The club will have a wide range of merchandise on sale and we hope to see all the parish decorated in blue and white.

Good luck to the Minors who play Naomh Mhuire in the Regional Final this Saturday evening in Fintra at 5.30pm.

The U13s were well beaten by a strong Dungloe team at home last Saturday. They are due to play Ardara away this Saturday at 11am.

There was no winner of last weeks lotto. Two prizes of 50 Euro went to Catherine Boyle, Glenties and Emer O’Donnell, Glenties. The numbers drawn were 10,14,25,27. The jackpot now stands at 3,100 Euro

Tickets for the club draw are on sale costing 10 Euro or 3 for 20 Euro. The 1st prize is 3,000 Euro,2nd prize 1,000 Euro followed by 5 prizes of 100 Euro. Tickets are availble from any club officer.

The club are holding a Fashion Show in the Highlands Hotel on Friday 25th September starting at 8pm. Featuring fashions from the following shops Verve, All Sports, Elite Brides, Tots and Tassels, Evolve and Jewellery by Hannah Mc Guinness. Entertainment by Cannon School of Dancers and various Artists. Models will include local celebrities so come along for a good nights entertainment MC Noel Cuinningham. Admission is 10 Euro.

There will be a club meeting in the clubhouse this Friday at 9pm.

The Naomh Conaill/Harvest Fair Cycle Challange was a great sucess and we would like to thank anyone who helped out in anyway.
