The Dinner Dance was held last Saturday night in The Highlands Hotel and was a great sucess. Presentations made on the night were Senior Player of the Year Anthony Thompson, Reserve Player of the Year David Gallagher, 3rd team Player of the Year Christopher Molloy, Most Improved Players of the Year Hugh Mc Devitt and AJ Gallagher, Club Person of the Year Seosamh Mac Ceallabhui, Senior Ladies Player of the Year Natalie Hegarty, Most improved Ladies Player Amy Mc Gettigan. The Minors who won the Co Championship were also presented with their medals on the night.

The club launched Strictly Come Dancing at the Dinner Dance last Saturday when the 16 dancers were announced. The event will take place on Sat 24th April in The Highlands Hotel and it promises to be a great nights entertainment. Tickets will be priced at 20 Euro and will go on sale in the coming weeks.

The Ladies AGM was held last Sunday in the clubhouse and the following were elected on the night Chairperson Roseleen Doherty, Secretary Fiona Quinn ,Treasurer Fiona Gallagher, Registra Shauna Molloy, Childrens Officer Rosie Molloy, U12 manager Shauna Molloy, U14 manager Fiona Quinn, U16 manager Packie Mc Gill, Minor manger Sean Boyce, Senior manager Sean Boyce.

There was no winner of last weeks lotto. Two prizes of 50 Euro went to Seamus O’Malley, Glenties and Mary E Bonner, Glenties. The numbers drawn were 14,15,17,18. The jackpot now stands at 4,900 Euro.

The U21s advanced to the Co semi final after overcoming Cloughaneely 1-16 to 1-9 in extra time played in Pobail Scoil Gaoth Dobhair last Saturday. The play Burren(Down) in the Ulster club semi final this Sunday at 2pm in Randalstown.

Club membership is now due and must be paid before 31st March. Adult membership is 30 Euro and underage is 10 Euro. There is also the 100 Euro membership which includes membership and entry into the weekly lotto. Membership forms are availble in Mc Glincheys.
