There will be a Pilgrimage to the Shrines of France from the 19th to 26th October 2001. The Pilgrimage will include the Shrines of St. Bernadette of Lourdes ‘. St. Therese of Liseux, St. Vincent de Paul and the Miraculous Medal at the Rue de Bac in Paris, also sightseeing tours to the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame Cathedral and other places of interest. GARDENFETE
Letterkenny General / St. Coral’s Hospital are running a Garden Fete in the Letterkenny Town Park next Sunday 26 August 2p.nL – 6p.m. All proceeds in aid of a bus to transport cancer patients from Donegal to Dublin for treatment.

COURSE
An intensive Professional Acting for Screen & Camera Course “I take place in Ostann Na Rosann on Saturday and Sunday 25’h & 26′ August from 1p.m. to 8.30p.m. each day. Please note new dates. Workshops will include Acting; Acting for Screen 1 Camera and Audition Techniques for Film and TV. There will also be an opportunity for agency recruitment. Course director is Shane Munro. WEDDING
Ann McGlynn and Declan Meehan were married in The Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour,
Glenfinn on Saturday 4ffi August 2001. Fr. John Mc Glynn, uncle of the bride, officiated, and was chief celebrant at Nuptial Mass. Fr. Seamus Meehan, P.P., Dungloe (cousin of the groom), Fr. Hugh Sweeney, P.P., Glenfinn and Fr. Philip Daly, C.C., Kilclooney were the concelebrants. Altar Server was Michelle O’Connor. Ann is a daughter of Danny and Bridie Mc Glynn, Letterbrick, Cloghan and Declan is a son of John Joe and Lizzie Meehan, Meenacally, Donegal Town. Eileen Me Glynn, Ann’s sister was her bridesmaid and Therese Mc Glynn and Niamh Byrne were flower girls. John Meehan was best man.
Readings were by Mary Me Glynn and Dermot Meehan sister of the bride and brother of the groom. Siobhan Dennehy, Karen Me Gee, friends of the bride and Noreen Meehan sister of the groom read Prayers of the Faithful. Barbara Boyle read a Reflection. Music and singing was by Glenties Folk Group. The reception was held in the Central Hotel, Donegal Town and the honeymoon is being spent in Florida. Ann is a teacher in Scoil Mhuire, Glenties and I’m sure her pupils wish her and her husband every happiness.
