New Arrival
Congratulations to Carina and Austin Mahony, Buncrubog, Glenties on the birth recently, of their baby girl, a little sister for Jake. 

Silver Wedding
Congratulations to Anne and Seamus Bonner, Glen Road, Glenties who celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary recently.

Sympathy
Sincere sympathy is extended to Breege Roarty, Ard Mc Gill, Glenties on the death of her sister, Doreen Langan, Belmullet, which took place last week.

Sincere sympathy is extended to the wife, family, relatives and friends of Gerry Boyle, Clooney, who died suddenly, last week.

Parish Social
The Annual Glenties Parish Social for all the Senior Citizens of the area will take place on Sunday 6th December at 3.00 p.m. in the Highlands Hotel. The support of the public would be very much appreciated from 5.30 p.m. onwards.

"Help Meningitis Research and Help your local School ~ Scoil Mhuire"
Scoil Mhuire is looking for any old mobile phones. All phones are acceptable, cracked screens, no batteries, anything really. The school can swap these phones for much needed school supplies – laptops, interactive whiteboards, audio – visual equipment. Please drop into Scoil Mhuire or ring 9551521 or alternatively give to a teacher or pupil. Thank You.

Collections
The Self-Help Africa Collection on 24th / 25th October amounted to €873.00. Thank you to the people of Glenties for your wonderful contribution. This money purchases Farming Equipment, Seed and Stock to enable African people to become self- sufficient.

The I.S.P.C.C. Collection which took place in Edeninfagh recently amounted to €115.00. Many thanks to all those who supported this cause.

Art Classes
Johnny Boyle Art Classes have begun on Tuesday and Wednesday in the Highlands hotel from 8.00 p.m. until 10.00 p.m.
