Afternoon of Prayer and Healing in Glenties
An Afternoon of Prayer and Healing with Eddie Stones will take place in St. Connell’s Church, Glenties on Sunday 7th March, starting at 2.00 p.m. Everyone is welcome.

Ardconnell 60th Anniversary
Winners in the Ardconnell 60th Anniversary Fundraising Draw were – Edward Gallagher (Jr.) – € 100, Ann Mc Gill, Straboy – Bottle of Whiskey and Enda Mc Guigan, Australia – Bottle of Wine. The committee would like to thank all who participated in this draw. Plans are well under way for the 60th Anniversary celebrations, which are scheduled to take place during the weekend of the 4th – 6th June. Further information will be posted on the Glenties web page shortly.

Concern Fast
Thanks to all the parents, family members and neighbours, who sponsored students from the Comprehensive School in this years Concern Fast. Thanks to all the students in Mr. Moore’s LCVP class who organised the fast and a special thanks to the 73 students in the school who completed the fast this year.

Glenties Youth Club
Glenties Youth Club will re-open on Friday 19th February at 8.00 p.m. All members are welcome. The committee members are currently looking for help with the running of the Club. Help from adults over the age of 18 years with a few hours to spare on a Friday evening would be gratefully appreciated. Contact Eilish Mc Nelis on 087 2148012 or Pat Ward on 087 3222908.

Ardun Television Service
Ardun Television Service is continuing after Sunday’s Meeting. Please give fees due (€ 25 R.T.E. Stations – € 50 British / R.T.E. Stations) to Terence Gallagher, Gerry Molloy or James McCallig before the end of February. Thank You.

Beach Clean Up
Downstrands Foroige Club have organised to clean up the local beaches on Sunday 21st February as part of the Permanent TSB Citizenship Programme. The group will be meeting at the Dolmen Centre at 10.45 a.m. on the day. The community wishes them every success in their endeavours and hope that they are successful in getting through to the National Awards in Dublin.
