Glenties Notes 28th April 2009

Graduation
Congratulations to Connell Herron who recently graduated from Trinity College, Dublin with a B. Ed. Degree. He received his Primary education at Edeninfagh N.S. and Secondary education at Gairm Scoil Chú Uladh, Ballinamore. From there he went to Colaiste Mhuire Teacher Training College, Marino and to Trinity College. Connell is a son of James and Rosemary Herron, Edeninfagh, Glenties and is currently teaching in The Holy Family Senior National School, Rivervalley, Swords, Co. Dublin, while studying Irish, Information and Communication Technology for a fourth year Degree at Trinity College.

Bingo
The winners at the Tuesday Night Bingo in The Community Centre, Glenties were – Geraldine Jordan, Inver who won the Jackpot of €400, Rosaleen Gallagher, Ardara, Jamsie Byrne, Maas, Donal Brennan, Liam Furey, Patrick Gallagher, Dungloe, Libby, Glenties, Patrick Gallagher, Dungloe and Rose Mc Fadden who won €100 each. Roise Campbell, Annie Dean, Kilcar, Rosemary Whelan, Ardara, Maura Kilbane, Ardara, V. McGranaghan, Donegal, Bella Boyle, Kilclooney, Fiona Gallagher, Glenties and Jerry Doherty won €50 each and Kitty McGlynn and Grainne Gallagher won €25 each. Your continued support is greatly appreciated.

Weddings Bells
Congratulations to Barry Keeney, Kilraine, Glenties and Sonya Black who were married in Rathmullan on Friday last.

Sympathy
Sincere sympathy is extended to the family, relatives and friends of Michael Mc Loone, Narin Road, Glenties who died in Letterkenny Hospital early on Saturday morning 25th April.
