Christmas Crib Collection – Thanks –“Gratitude from Jimma in Ethiopia”
The people of Jimma are overwhelmed and delighted with the support from the people in Glenties Parish and Community at large. The money from The Crib and from the Charity Shop is sent on a monthly basis to support children, families and old poor people to keep body and soul together. They send back thanks and prayers and blessings in abundance. We are hoping to arrange for a couple to visit our community in the Summer when we can forge closer links with the community in Jimma and hear first hand how our support is so essential to them. We will organise a community event around their visit. In the meantime thank you again for your continued support and if you have unwanted Christmas Gifts or Good Stuff that you no longer need we are very happy to receive same in ‘Shop N Share’. Maria Rafferty and Team.

The school had three nominations – Amy Boyle Carr was nominated for Best Sports Girl and John Mc Cann was nominated for Best Sports Teacher.
