Headstones at the top of the New Graveyard have been badly damaged by a large vehicle. This has caused great distress to the families, whose loved ones are buried in these graves. We appeal to people not to attempt to drive to the top of the Graveyard in large commercial vehicles as there isn’t enough room between the graves. If you are having work done by ‘Headstone & Monument ‘companies please advise them that they are not to drive to the top of the Graveyard or across the grass at the lower end. Thank you very much for your understanding and co-operation in this matter.

The 4th and 5th class girls won the football, and the 4th and 5th class boys won the Hurling. While our girls were expected to do well, the achievement of the boys was incredible. With a minimum of coaching, they conceded no goals and went through the competition undefeated. Both teams will now go to Cookstown to represent Donegal in the Ulster Finals. Once again the young pupils of Scoil Mhuire have brought more success to both school and town
