Bingo in Glenties Community Centre every Tuesday night at 9pm. Jackpot €9400 on 45 numbers or less if not won €300 will be paid out, €100 a house, €50 a line.

Emily Bonner Irish Dance Classes Wednesday @ 3.30pm – 7.15pm
Tai Chi  Wednesdays  from 8.00pm – 9.30pm

Christmas at the Museum: Santa and Mrs Claus are visiting the Museum on the following nights – Friday 8th December, Saturday 9th, 5.00pm -8.00pm nightly and Sunday10th 3.00pm – 5.30pm.  Admission €7 per child which includes a gift from Santa. Face painting, make your own decorations, decorating a cookie, Ride around the courtyard on Santa’s pony and trap, mini disco (Dance with Santa Elves).

Annual Christmas Concert
Laughlin School of Music annual Christmas Concert will be held in Halla Naomh Bhríde on Saturday 23rd December starting at 8pm. An evening of beautiful music and song to get you into the Christmas spirit.

Annual Ecumenical Carol Service
The Annual Ecumenical Carol Service will take place on Sunday 10th December at 6pm in St Connell’s Church and promises to be an unmissable event, with over 100 children, Brass Band, Adult Choir, local musicians and others taking part,  Come early and be seated before 6pm and join in this unique celebration as we seek to discover the true meaning of Christmas.

Meenagowan National School Fundraiser
A Christmas Fair and Fashion Show will be held in The Limelight, Glenties on Sunday 10th December in aid of Meenagowan NS, Lettermacaward.  Come along and meet Santa, enjoy Craft Activities, Face Painting and a Fashion Show.  Christmas Cakes will be available for purchase together with lots of stalls!  Anyone interested in taking part in the Christmas Market – Businesses or Individuals – please contact the school on 074 95444906 or email: meenagowanns@gmail.com.  Your support would be greatly appreciated.

Fundraiser Thanks
Scoil Mhuire and the Parents Association would like to thank everyone that took part in the Santa 5k Run/3k Walk.  We hope everyone had a great day.  To those businesses and parents who sponsored the prizes for the run and raffle, we greatly appreciate your generosity.  We look forward to seeing everyone again next year.

Cash for Clobber
We will be having  our final  “CASH 4 CLOBBER” collection for  this year in Scoil Mhuire on Tuesday 12th December. We are collecting unwanted clothing for adults and children, paired shoes, hats and scarves, handbags and belts and curtains and linens. (no duvets or pillows) All bags to be left in the school on or before Tuesday. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support
