Glenties Notes on 30th April 2007

Congratulations to the boys and girls who received the Sacrament of Confirmation from Bishop Philip Boyce in St. Connell’s Church, Glenties on Sunday last.

Congratulations to Brian Campbell, Glen Road, Glenties and Patricia Earley who were married in Kilbride on Saturday last.

Congratulations to Timmy and Mairead Groarke and Daniel Darcy who graduated on Thursday 26^th April 2007 from TemplemoreGardaCollege.  All three are grandchildren of Sadie Sweeney, Glen Road and the late Danny Sweeney, Main St. Glenties.

Enrolment Day takes place on Wednesday 9^th May 2007 for children wishing to attend St. Riaghan’s NS Drimnacrosh in September 2007.  Children are asked to attend with their parents from 11.15a.m. to 1p.m.  It is important that parents bring their child’s Birth Certificate and P.P.S. Number with them on the day and also a small packed lunch for their child, as they will have the opportunity to sample “School Life” while parents meet with the Principal.  Anyone requiring further information can telephone the school at 9551591.
