Glenties Notes on April 24th 2003

The death took place in Glasgow on Sunday 13th April of Brigid Mc Ginley. She was the last surviving member of the family of Dan and Mary Byrne, Buncrubog, Glenties. Her husband Joe, sisters, Annie and Molly, brothers, Charlie and Sonny predeceased her. Sincere sympathy is extended to her niece, Bernadette Byrne, Buncrubog, nephews, Seamus Byrne, The Rock, Glenties, Cathal Byrne, Donegal, other relatives and friends.

The winners of the Edeninfagh N.S. Easter Raffle were 1st Prize – Assumpta Boyle, Donegal Town. 2nd Prize – Peter Campbell, Tangavane, Glenties. 3rd Prize – Brigid Byrne, Glen Road, Glenties. 4th Prize – John Fischer, Station Road, Glenties.
