Glenties Notes on February 13th 2001
Sincere sympathy is extended to Bried Roarty, Ard Mc Gill, Glenties, who recently had a double bereavement. Her father, Martin Connor, Belmullet, Co. Mayo, died two weeks after his wife.
Congratulations to Anne and Kieran Kennedy, Stranaglough, Glenties on the birth in Letterkenny Hospital, on Thursday 8th February of their baby boy, a little brother for Stacey.
Congratulations to Mick and Anne Boyle, Ard Patrick, Glenties, who celebrated their fortieth wedding anniversary last weekend.
The Pioneer Total Abstinence Association wishes to thank all those who attended their recent Social & Barn Dance; those who did home-baking and helped with the tea, those who donated gifts for the Raffle, Gallagher’s Bakery, Ardara who donated the cake and Country Traditions who provided the music. A great night was enjoyed by all.
