Glenties Notes on January 22nd 2004

Sincere sympathy is extended to Fiona Mc Dwyer, Station Road, Glenties, on the death of her aunt, Bridie Carey, which took place recently in Buncrana.

Sincere sympathy is extended to the relatives of John Mc Ghee, Glenleighan, Fintown, who died recently.

Sincere sympathy is extended to Ann Doherty, Meenahalla on the death of her aunt, Maggie Hanlon, Meenmore, Dungloe, which took place recently.

Sincere sympathy is extended to the family of Katty Miliffe who died in Castlebar on Friday 16th January 2004. Sympathy also to her brother Mick and sister Joan and to all her relatives and friends. Katty was the second daughter of Willie O’Donnell, owner of O’Donnell’s Hotel, Glenties. After the family sold the hotel the name was changed to the Highlands Hotel.
