Glenties Notes on January 24th 2002

Terence O’Donnell and Catherine Loupy were married in S.M.A. Church Blackpool, Cork on Saturday 5th January 2002. The bride’s sister, Mary was bridesmaid and the groom’s brother, Aidan was bestman. The reception was held in the Maryborough Hotel, Douglas and the honeymoon was spent in Rome. Terence is a son of Patrick and Mary O’ Donnell, Gortnasillagh, Glenties and the bride is from Screen, Co. Westmeath.

Sincere sympathy is extended to the relatives and friends of the following: Mamie Sweeney, Gortnasillagh who died on Saturday 19th, Peggy Conwell, Strabane (nee Mc Devitt, Greenan’s, Glenties) who also died on Saturday, Patrick Ward, Baltipatrick, who died on Sunday, Paddy Mc Gill, Glenleighan, Fintown, who died on Sunday and Joseph Herron, formerly of Glenamohill, Fintown, who died recently in Scotland.
