Glenties Notes on March 27th 2003

Congratulations to the Glenties Comprehensive School Senior and U– 16 Gaelic teams who both won their Vocational County Finals in 2002 and who were recently presented with their medals at a function in the Highlands Hotel, Glenties to celebrate the double success for the school.

Sincere sympathy is extended to the relatives and friends of Sarah Boyle, (nee Melly), New York, who died suddenly in New York recently. Sarah was the last surviving member and the eldest of the family of the late Francie and Nellie Melly, Strasallagh, Glenties.

Sincere sympathy is extended to the family, relatives and friends of Neil Ward, Meenaleenaghan, Glenties who died in Letterkenny Hospital on Saturday last.

Sincere sympathy is extended to the relatives and friends of Neil Mc Geehan, Meenatinney, Fintown who died on Saturday 22nd March 2003 and who was buried in Fintown on Monday.
