As most people are aware, the new Webcam System has been installed in the main Church for the last two weeks. Technicians installed an override facility on Tuesday which allows for the streaming to be curtailed in the event of certain ceremonies should this be the wish of immediate families at the time of Funerals, Weddings, Baptisms etc. It affords people locally and others throughout the world to tune into home and share in the Prayer of Masses from elsewhere, from Perth to Peking. It can be accessed via www.mcnmedia.tv. The total cost of installation was €3,300 including V.A.T. There will also be an annual fee for this service. Should anyone wish to assist in defraying part of the cost, any donations would be appreciated.
Thank you to all who generously made donations to help defray the cost of the installation of the Webcam system. A further €620 has been gratefully received.
