Naomh Conaill Notes 1st November 2010

Congratulations to the Senior team on reaching the Ulster Club semi final for the first time in the clubs history after a great victory over Clontibret in Ballybofey last Sunday. They now play Coalisland (Tyrone) in Brewster Park, Enniskillen at 2.30pm on Sunday 14th November.

There was no winner of last weeks lotto. The numbers drawn were 1,3,10,19. Two prizes of 50 Euro went to Catherine Boyle, Glenties and Cherle Quinn, Glenties. The jackpot now stands at 4,100 Euro.

The 200 Club draw was held last Monday night and the 1st prize of 500 Euro went to Ann Connaghan and 5 prizes of 100 Euro went to Francis Campbell, Muriel Hegarty, Hughie Quinn, Karla Doherty and Tim Cranley.

The club are hosting Live to Play in the clubhouse on Wednesday 17th Nov at 7.30pm. This is a very important workshop on road safety and will include a presentation from An Garda Siochana, Guest Speakers and other important presentations. The clubs attenting are Naomh Conaill, Ardara and Na Rossa.

There will be a club meeting in the clubhouse next Monday night at 9pm.

Congratulations to the senior ladies who won the Darren Mc Ginley Memorial Tournament in Glen last Saturday week. Thanks to the Glenties Theatre Workshop for donating the proceeds from the very sucessful musical Grease. They sponsored a set of jerseys for our senior ladies and donated 2,639 Euro and they also donated 1,000 Euro to the Naomh Conaill weights fund. The ladies held a pub quiz in Paddys last week and raised 300 Euro.
