Glenties Notes 28th October 2010

Collection
The I.S.P.C.C. collection which was taken up recently amounted to € 638.00.  Many thanks to all those who supported this cause.

Snooker Room
The Snooker Room in the Community Centre will be open every night except Tuesday from 6 p.m. – 10 p.m.  Bingo every Tuesday night.

Keep Fit Classes
Keep Fit Classes have started in Scoil Mhuire Gym on Tuesdays. Times:  5 p.m. – 6.30 and 7 p.m. – 8.30p.m.  The classes cater for females of all ages.  Cost is € 5. Looking forward to seeing you there.

Donegal Hospice Coffee Morning
The Behan Family, Ard Patrick are having a Coffee Morning in the Community Centre, Glenties on Saturday morning after 11 a.m. Mass in aid of Donegal Hospice.  Your support would be greatly appreciated for this very worthy cause.

Bingo
The Winners at the Bingo in the Community Centre, Glenties on Tuesday 19th October were – Mary Kennedy and Moya Gallagher won € 200 each.  Mary Kennedy, Glenties, Sarah Long, Fintown, Bridie Boyle, Bridie Doherty, Christine Mc Cool, T. O’Dochartaigh, Anne Quinn, Mary Furey, Ardara, Nan Doherty and Liz Buckley won € 100 each.  Caroline Kee, Laghey, Anne Kennedy, Sandra Moore, Sarah Long, Fintown, Maura Kilbane, Sarah Gallagher, Ardara, Mary Mc Gill, Ardara, Kathleen Griffin, Dim Melly, Rooskey, and Lisa Coughlan won € 50 each.  Sarah Long, Fintown, Kitty Mc Glynn, Anne Mc Dyre and Breege Brennan won € 25 each.

New Arrival
Congratulations to David Sweeney and Mary Heekin on the birth recently of their baby daughter (Niamh).

Sympathy
Sincere sympathy is extended to the relatives and friends of Kitty Hughes, formerly Quinn, Mully, Glenties who died in Dungannon last week.

Women on The Verge of HRT
Balor Rep. presents ‘Women on The Verge of HRT’ in the Community Centre, Glenties on Friday 29th October at 8.30 p.m.
