There was no winner of last weeks lotto. Two prizes of 50 Euro went to Emma Boyle, Glen Road Glenties and Jean Boyle, Monargan Ardara. The numbers drawn were 2,19,22,23. The jackpot now stands at 2,600 Euro. The draw takes place every Tuesday night at the Community Centre Bingo.
The Senior and Reserve teams had big victories at home to Buncrana in the 1st leg of the championship last Sunday. The Seniors won 2-18 to 3-7 and the Reserves came out on top 2-13 to 1-02. Both teams are away to Four Masters this Sunday at 1.30pm and 3pm.
The minors were involved in a thrilling game at home to Naomh Mhuire in the league last Wednesday winning 4-12 to 4-11. The game was end to end stuff with both teams playing good open football and the game finished in dramatic fashion with a goal from Cathal Ellis with the last kick of the game.
A understrenght U16 team were well beat by Cloughaneely in the Co league semi final played in Gweedore last Monday.
The U14s played their first league away to Dungloe on Wednesday 27th and next Wednesday 3rd June they are at home to Kilcar at 7pm.
The U12s beat Aodh Ruadh 4-19 to 2-7 in the Regional semi final played in Ballintra last Friday evening. The B team also came out on top after a great second half display by 0-6 to 1-0.Both teams are now through to the Southern Regional final where they will meet Ardara on Sunday 7th June at 7pm. No venue has been fixed yet.
DVDs of the club fun day which was held on the 10th May are on sale in Mc Glincheys.
