"Shop SWD" Voucher Scheme
The Killybegs and District Chamber of Commerce Ltd. in conjunction with the local Business Communities are pleased to launch the "Shop SWD" Voucher Scheme.
The aim of the scheme is to encourage people to SHOP LOCAL
We all know there are many reasons to shop local among them:
- Local Business owners contribute to more local fundraising
- Local Businesses provide the majority of jobs
- Local Businesses support other local Businesses
- Keep Local Towns Alive
The list is endless and we can all add to it but we must all take some responsibility.
This scheme is for everyone
Promote the “Shop SWD“ in your company, business, at home, among family and friends by participating in the scheme and giving the Vouchers as gifts this Christmas and long into 2010 as this is a long term retail plan.
The Vouchers in €5/€10/€20 and €50.00 denominations are available from the

The vouchers are redeemable against goods or services in participating outlets who are displaying the

Employers please note.
Treat your staff to a voucher without being liable for PAYE and PRSI.
How? Where an employer provides an employee with a small benefit (not exceeding €250.00) PAYE and PRSI need not be applied to that benefit. No more than one such benefit given to an employee in a Tax Year will qualify for such treatment. Where a benefit exceeds €250.00 the full value of the benefit is subjected to PAYE and PRSI. This concession does not apply to cash payment regardless of the value. Another excellent reason to support “Shop South West”
