There was no winner of last weeks lotto.Two prizes of 50 Euro went to Lisa Quinn,Portnoo and M Mc Nern,Mountcharles.The numbers drawn were 5,9,17,23.The jackpot now stands at 2,400 Euro.

Hard luck to the 3rd team who were very unlucky to lose the Junior B semi final to Convoy last Saturday evening in Ballybofey.They put in a very poor first half display going in at the break 1-5 to 0-3 down but they got their act together in the second half and leading by a point with time up Convoy got a in injury time which looked to be a square ball and we ended up losing 2-9 to 1-9.

The Senior team picked up 2 important league points at home to Four Masters last Sunday winning 0-13 to 0-07.The Reserves were well beaten by Four Masters 3-14 to 0-10.

The club are holding a draw with tickets costing 10 Euro or 20 Euro for a book of 3.The 1st prize is 3,000 Euro,2nd prize 1,000 Euro followed by 5 prizes of 100 Euro.Tickets will be on sale from the Harvest Fair Day and the draw will take place on Friday 17th October.

We are holding a Fashion Show in The Highlands Hotel on Sunday 28th September starting at 8pm.

There was no winner of last weeks lotto.Two prizes of 50Euro went to M Brown,Carrick and Sarah Mc Glynn, Fintown.The numbers drawn were 1,7,22,23.The jackpot now stands at 2,300 Euro.

The club hosted a Under 8 blitz last Saturday and the teams that took part were Ardara,Killybegs,Glenswilly and Naomh Conaill.There were over 120 children involved and everyone that was there had a very enjoyable day.All the children got presented with medals for taking part and we would like to thank All Sports Donegal Town who sponsored the medals and Leo Mc Loone,Frank Mc Glynn and Stephen Mc Dermott who presented the medals.

Our U 10 A panel are of to Belfast this weekend where they will compete in the annual St Teresas U 10 tournament. We wish them the best of luck and hope they have a very enjoyable time.

The Minors made their exit from the championship when they were beaten by Killybegs last Monday evening in Dunkineely.The game finished level during normal time and extra time was played and dispite going into a 3 point lead with the light fading Killybegs got back into the game with a goal and they came out on top 2-15 to 0-19.Good luck to the 3rd team who play Convoy in the Junior B semi final this Saturday at 6.30pm in Ballybofey.

The Reserves played Glenswilly last Saturday evening in Glenties and for the second week in row they lost by 1pt 0-14 to 2-9.

The Seniors were in league action on Sunday at home to Glenswilly and the game was a very tough encounter and both teams had chances to won finised level 1-9 to 1-9.Both the Seniors and Reserves are at home to Four Masters this Sunday.

There was no winner of last weeks lotto.Two prizes of 50 Euro went to James Mc Garvey,Mill Road and Sheila Mc Garvey,Mill Road.The numbers drawn were 1,3,20,24.The jackpot now stands at 2,200 Euro.

A very much understrenght Reserve team were beat by Glenswilly last Saturday evening 0-12 to 0-11 in Glenswilly.

The 3rd team were involved in a very high scoring league game with Aodh Ruadh in Glenties last Sunday with the game finishing all level 2-16 to 5-07.

The Minors had a good victory away to Kilcar in the 2nd leg of the championship winning 1-13 to 0-10.They now meet Killybegs in the Divisional semi final next Monday at 6.30pm in Dunkineely.

The U 16s were beaten by St Eunans in the county semi final by last Monday evening in Glenswilly.Well done to the management and players on getting that far.

The club have a wide range of of club gear on sale including hoddies,jackets,jerseys and kit bags and they are availble in Olives or Mc Glincheys.

There was no winner of last weeks lotto.Two prizes of 50 Euro went to James Quinn,Cloghan and James Gallagher Ardara.The numbers drawn were 7,14,20,24.The jackpot now stands at 2,100 Euro.

The U10 blitz due to be played last Saturday in Bundoran had to be cancelled due to the inclement weather.This may be rescheduled at a later date.

The U14s made their exit from the championship when they were beat at home by St Nauls1-9 to 2-9 last Friday evening.

The U16s Co Semi Final match against St Eunans which was due to be played last Sunday was postponed because of a berevement in the St Eunans club.The game will now be played next Monday 25th August at 6.45pm in Glenswilly.

The Minors beat Kilcar 0-13 to 2-6 in the 1st leg of the championship in Glenties last Wednesday.The 2nd leg is to be played in Kilcar on Wednesday 20th August at 7pm.

The Seniors made a disappointing exit from the championship last Saturday in Letterkenny going down to Four Masters 3-7 to 4-11.Both the Seniors and Reserves are due to have league games this weekend.

Good luck to our U16s who are playing in the Co Semi Final this Sunday.At the time of writing we still do not know who we will be playing and where the game will be played so please check Mc Glincheys window for more information and come out and support the lads.

The Minors are due to play their 2nd leg game in the championship away to Kilcar next Wednesday at 7.30pm.
The U14s 2nd leg game against St Nauls takes place this Friday 15th at 7.30pm in Glenties they lost the 1st leg last Monday in Mountcharles 1-13 to 2-3.

The U10s have their last blitz of the year this Saturday in Bundoran starting at 11.30am.

Well done to the 3rd team who had a big victory over Malin in Glenswilly last Saturday evening winning 1-12 to 1-4.They are now through to the Junior B semi final which takes place in a few weeks time.

The Senior team were beat at home in the league by St Eunans last Saturday evening going down 1-8 to 0-13 .They meet Four Masters in the quarter finals of the championship this Saturday evening at 6.15pm in O Donnell Park Letterkenny and we hope everyone will travel in large numbers and give them every support.

The Minors overcame Ardara 1-12 to 1-7 in a championship play off in Dunkineely last Wednesday evening.They now meet Kilcar in Glenties next Tuesday at 6.30pm with the 2nd leg taking place on Wednesday 20th August in Kilcar at 7.30pm.

The 3rd team beat Ardara in a play off in the Junior B Championship played in Ardara last Friday evening they now meet Malin in the quarter final and that game is due to be played this Saturday.

The Seniors are due to play St Eunans in the league this Saturday evening.

The U14s are away to St Nauls in the 1st leg of the championship next Monday at 7.30pm

Well done to Donegal team who won the Buncrana cup last Saturday beating Tyrone in the final.The club were represented on the team by players Jamie Gallagher, Andrew Scott and Jason Campbell and the manager is Martin Regan(junior).

There was no winner of last weeks lotto.Two prizes of 50 Euro went to Muriel Hegarty,Glenties and John Boyle,Knockleitrecha.The numbers drawn were 3,16,18,19.The jackpot now stands at 2,800Euro.

The Minors beat Ardara 2-12 to 1-09 in Glenties last Wednesday and the teams will now meet in a play off which will take place on Wednesday 30th July at 7.30pm in Dunkineely.

Well done to the Senior team who put on a fantastic display against Cloughaneely in the championship last Sunday evening in Glenswilly dominating the game from start to finish running out convincing winners. They now meet Four Masters in the next round.

The Reserves made their exit from the championship dispite putting in a good first half performance and leading by 2pts at the break Cloughaneely got on top of them in the second half and they lost out by 1pt.

The Third meet Ardara in Ardara in a play off this Friday evening at 7.30pm with the winners progressing to the next round of the Junior B championship

Naomh Conaill GAA Golf Classic

The Naomh Conaill GAA Golf Classic takes place at Nairn and Portnoo Golf Club on Saturday September 8th 2007 at the beginning of what is the Harvest Fair Festival time in Glenties.

This years event is being run as a three ball scramble and entry for any team of three is 150 euro.
